Posada la Escondida

Automata show

A light and sound show, presented on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 9:00 p.m., created by Relojes Centenario, the first monumental clock factory in America, founded in 1918.

Its peculiarity is its functionalism based on the mechanism of a clock, which is reminiscent of the famous Cuckoo, which came out of clocks to announce each hour.

These are seven mannequins dressed in regional costumes that adapt their movement to traditional music, leaving one by one and then all joining in a final song.

The states represented are Puebla, Veracruz, Oaxaca, Guadalajara, Yucatán, Chiapas and Sinaloa.

The appointment is on the balconies of Relojes Centenario, located at Nicromante no. 3, in the center of Zacatlán, with a duration of approximately 20 minutes, in which the history of the famous watch factory is also expressed.

To enjoy it, just arrive a few minutes early at the meeting point, get comfortable and enjoy the free show; Also take advantage of your visit to tour the clock museum.

It is worth mentioning that the name Centenario Clocks was adopted in 1921, for the celebration of the centenary of the consummation of the Independence of Mexico.

His two most famous creations are found in the monumental clock of the Sunken Park and the icon of the magical town located in the center of Zacatlán.
