Touching heaven on earth...

It is well known that only in Zacatlán you can touch the sky with your hands, if you don't know what we are talking about, it is urgent that you visit our land of apples.

So that you don't want to visit us, I will explain why you can't stop getting to know us and living this unique experience. Our municipality is the entrance to the northern Sierra of Puebla, which is why we have a temperate subhumid climate that can lead us to live with different climates in the same week.

In general, the humidity, the welcoming cold and the fog that covers Zacatlán are characteristics that we find most of the year. This fog rises like a kind of welcoming blanket that covers all surfaces in the center of Zacatlán. Many times, thanks to the density of the clouds, visibility of what is around us is lost. It is undoubtedly an impressive spectacle, similar to a hug from heaven to locals and strangers.

Zacatlán has always distinguished itself by offering a unique experience to its visitors, the inhabitant always seeks to provide unforgettable moments, which is why since 2014, the Mirador de Cristal was built, located in the eastern part of Paseo de la Barranca. One of the purposes of this bridge is for you to touch the sky with the illusion of being suspended over the goldfinch ravine, where you can contemplate sunrises and sunsets, contrasting a play of colors from the sun; It really is an experience that you have to live when you visit Zacatlán.

The viewpoint built in a semicircular shape of approximately 10 meters, with a metal base and glass floor, has a safe hydraulic concrete structure, a metal structure as a support, aluminum in the handrail and tempered glass sheets, both the floor and the railing. They are completely made of transparent glass, making this attraction a magical experience. This glass viewpoint has become the obligatory point for tourists to see sunrises and sunsets, take unique photographs, and in times of fog, it can be an encounter with the sky, embracing it from the earth.
